ThermaCare is made of a soft, allergy-friendly material that is comfortable to wear on the body. The product has a number of heat cells, which contain a mixture of iron, activated carbon, salt and water. The product is intended for single use and must be disposed of as household waste. How long does ThermaCare product provide heat? After approx. 30 minutes of heating, ThermaCare® maintains a therapeutic temperature of approx. 40°C for eight hours once removed from the inner pouch. This temperature is only slightly above the normal body temperature of 37°C. If the deep feeling of warmth diminishes, it is because the body gets used to the product. This is not neccessary because the product has stopped working. Use ThermaCare® for eight hours only for best results. How long can I use ThermaCare? For best results, we recommend using ThermaCare® for eight hours, for two to three consecutive days. ThermaCare® can be used on the same pain area for a maximum of eight hours during a day. Stop using ThermaCare® and consult a doctor if your pain gets worse after seven days or is unchanged. ThermaCare® product is for single use only and cannot be reused.
