Dubbed the body's complete user guide, it will become the go-to resource for learning all you need to know about building muscle, losing fat, eating (healthy) cake and unlocking your superhuman physical potential.Packed with workouts the author tried and tested in the pursuit of multiple world records, it's more than a book, it's the greatest training tool ever written! Designed for anyone who wants to make permanent and lasting changes to their food and fitness, it's the first book to combine the teachings, tips and tricks of Olympic and World Champions into one, easy to follow resource. The Art of Resilience [Hardcover]Ross Edgley famously ran a marathon pulling a 1.4-tonne car and climbed a rope the height of Everest (8,848m), after living with Yamabushi warrior monks in Japan and partaking in Shamanic pain rituals with fire ants in the Amazon jungle. On his epic 1,780-mile journey around Great Britain, which lasted 157 days, Ross swam through giant jellyfish, arctic storms, ‘haunted’ whirlpools and polluted shipping lanes, going so hard, and so fast, his tongue fell apart. About The Author :Ross Edgley (born 13 October 1985) is a British athlete, ultra-marathon sea swimmer and author. He holds multiple world records, but is perhaps most recognised for completing the World's Longest Staged Sea Swim in 2018,[3] when he became the first person in history to swim 1,780 miles (2,860 km)[4] around Great Britain, in 157 days[4] (voted Performance of the Year by the World Open Water Swimming Association.)[5] In 2024, he also became the first person in history to simultaneously hold official Guinness World Records for long-distance swimming in the sea and river when he broke the record for the longest non-stop, continuous river swim down the Yukon River (318 miles/510km).[
