The RF 01 Future is not a Pro Staff clone, and it was designed with input from Roger to make a racquet that was easier to use and more explosive than the models he used in the past. A special SABR beam design brings performance versatility, allowing for pace, spin, and direction changes - all of which are hallmarks of Federer's game style. Wilson Integrated a smooth bumper and grommet design called Glide Guard to enhance maneuverability and reduce air resistance to increase racquet head speed. For vibration dampening, the racquet is filled with PU foam which increases comfort as well. The RF 01 Future has a 98 square-inch head and a dual taper beam which creates a more forgiving response.
