Smart Bass Blocker Function In BMWs with the factory Basic Sound System, the underseat woofers and door speakers share the same signal. This means the small 4" door speakers are forced to play deep bass tones they weren’t made for — often causing distortion and muddy sound. The ZDBMW4CS includes an integrated Bass Blocker loop that filters out those low frequencies below 120Hz (-12dB/Oct).
