Version 4.5 introduces a simplified and speedier lacing system, a cooler engineered mesh upper, and added support and protection on the medial side to improve durability. The 4D Support Chassis 2.0 incorporates a split chassis design for propulsion, stability, and control during dynamic movements.

Another upgrade to the midsole is Wilson's Energy Cell, an EVA foam in the forefoot for a softer feel and better weight transfer which results in faster acceleration. Sensifeel 2.0 is back again and it keeps the upper breathable and comfortable, thanks to a minimally layered design of the engineered mesh. An Endofit inner-sock construction naturalizes the fit of the shoe, and results in both comfort and support. Updated lacing system makes adjusting the fit much easier. The medial side gets a larger rubber drag pad and a mudguard constructed of supportive and protective material.
