These shoes designed for clay courts. The Wilson Men's Rush Pro 4.5 RG Clay Tennis Shoe is a worthy update to Wilson's most well-rounded shoe. Version 4.5 introduces a simplified and speedier lacing system, a cooler engineered mesh upper, and added support and protection on the medial side to improve durability.

The 4D Support Chassis 2.0 incorporates a split chassis design for propulsion, stability, and control during dynamic movements. Another upgrade to the midsole is Wilson's Energy Cell, an EVA foam in the forefoot for a softer feel and better weight transfer which results in faster acceleration. Sensifeel 2.0 is back again and it keeps the upper breathable and comfortable, thanks to a minimally layered design of the engineered mesh.

The new outsole perfectly balances traction with the ability to slide with improved durability. Upper: Sensifeel 2.0 translates to a minimally layered upper with an improved engineered mesh that provides enhanced breathability, feel, support, and comfort. An Endofit inner-sock construction naturalizes the fit of the shoe, and results in both comfort and support.

Updated lacing system makes adjusting the fit much easier. The medial side gets a larger rubber drag pad and a mudguard constructed of supportive and protective material. Insole: High-density OrthoLite foam insole offers maximum cushioning and impressive longevity.

Midsole: R-DST+ midsole foam offers the best combination of cushioning and rebound for dynamic performance. Updated 4D Support Chassis 2.0 features a split design with one piece of the chassis under the foot to provide enhanced support and forward propulsion. The lateral chassis piece runs from heel to toe for ultimate stability and control when on the move.

Outsole: The all-court Duralast outsole is harder than the previous generation Rush Pro, and it provides excellent durability and traction. The shoe's Dynamic Fit rating is DF2. This means the Rush Pro 4.5 is built with a 9mm heel-to-toe drop for an optimal balance between cushioning, support, and agility.
