Crossfire 17g Strings

A different take on their Crossfire line, Ashaway Crossfire 17g String combines a resilient synthetic gut cross string with their more durable Monogut for the main strings. The co-polyester Monogut provides good durability with more playability than aramid strings, while the synthetic gut helps to soften the string bed even more. The result is that Crossfire Monogut provides a more responsive string bed for hard hitters that want a softer feel without sacrificing durability. An improvement over traditional hybrids, Monogut holds its tension exceptionally well for longer-lasting playability. Our testers felt that Crossfire Monogut performed best in the hands of powerful baseline players who did not want to give up the feel necessary for occasional touch shots.
