How the personalization works Pick your pendant size at checkout (Small, Medium, or Large). Upload one photo through our simple uploader. Our photo team removes the background, balances lighting, sharpens facial detail, and prepares the image for laser engraving. We then engrave the image into the rectangular crystal pendant, attach the sterling silver hooded bail, and thread the matching sterling silver cable chain. What photo works best for the necklace The rectangle pendant is naturally a portrait shape — tall rather than wide. Single-subject headshots are the sweet spot. Photos with strong eye contact, clear facial detail, and natural lighting engrave most powerfully at this scale. The pendant handles 1–2 subjects well; groups with 3+ people will engrave but faces will be small. Avoid wide landscape compositions, heavily filtered photos, and dark/underexposed images. Pendant care The optical crystal pendant is durable and the sterling silver bail and chain are hypoallergenic and water-resistant for everyday wear. The pendant can be worn in the shower, the rain, and at the beach. Avoid harsh chemicals (chlorine, bleach, undiluted perfume sprayed directly on the chain). Clean the crystal pendant gently with a soft cloth and a small amount of glass cleaner. Polish the silver bail and chain occasionally with a silver polishing cloth (included with order) to maintain the bright finish.
